VC1300M-V2 is a high contrast camera specifically developed with the goal of detection and identification of miniature Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), either independently or as a part of an optical positioning system.
Small dimensions of UAVs and their lack of noise while operating make detection and identification of unmanned aerial systems a challenging task nowadays. In addition, they emit little to no radiation across the entire spectrum and cannot be found with radiolocation systems due to being constructed from composite materials.
APPLICATIONS:
• Detection of UAV over large distances: «DJI Phantom» — 2 km (FOV — 25°); «Orlan-10» — 16 km (FOV — 7°)
• Surveillance in low visibility conditions such as heavy snowfall, fog, rain, or smoke
