FLM384-GAS is a thermal imaging camera based on VОx (Vanadium oxide) microbolometer sensor, operating in a spectral range of 3 – 14 μm. Among other VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds), methane (CH4) absorbs IR-radiation not only in MWIR range (3.2 μm) but in the LWIR range as well (7.7 μm). Unlike traditional thermal cameras, FLM384-GAS is capable of methane visualization in the LWIR range, due to its 3 – 14 μm bolometer-based module providing enough sensitivity.
