NPK Fotonika presents new astronomical camera NEVA4040 based on Gpixel’ Gsense4040 sensor

NEVA4040 — is a camera for astronomical and scientific applications based on GSENSE4040, Gpixel’s CMOS sensor. The camera is capable of high frame rate of 23 fps at full resolution (16 Mp, 14 bit). It is made possible because of its high-speed optical interface.

Key features of NEVA4040 are:

Ultralow readout noise level: 3.8 e^-;
Optical format: 41.61 mm;
Large pixel size: 9 x 9 μm.

NEVA4040 relies on dual stage thermoelectric cooling, synchronization by External PPS signal, and the ability to select the region of interest (ROI).
